Things in the Loftis home are good.  Darin says, “Holly has begun teaching Kindermusik once a week.  Kindermusik is a music and movement class for young children and their parents, and Holly's class is entitled  "Our Time."  It consists of children between the ages of 1 1/2  to 3.  Darin is enjoying Arabic classes two evenings a week. Alison sang a small solo part in a Christmas Cantata at church in December, and also performed with her dance class at a mall. Camille is still imitating almost    everything her big sister does.  She can't wait to start her own dance lessons soon.

 

 

 

 

From Raymond’s Branch………

Raymond and Mary Brooks have moved from Alabama back to Tennessee.  Ray is now working for Averitt Express.  They have built a new home in Gallatin and their address 1109 LeAnn Ct., Gallatin, TN 37066.  Mary transferred to work at Penney’s in Gallatin.  You can reach them at 615 452 9653.  Ray’s cell phone is 270 799 0292 and email address is Rbrooks@averitexpress.com.  

 

Toby and Carrie Brooks are anxiously awaiting the arrival of their new baby boy in March. They plan to name him James Edward, after his great-grandpa. Big sister, Kyndall,  is keeping them busy while they wait.  Carrie says, “This was her (Kyndall) second year to cheer. Her squad competed in a competition back in October and won 2 first place ribbons and 3 second place ribbons. The team is the Smyrna Triple  Pee Wee Bulldogs. She is still dancing (tap, ballet and acro) at Footloose Dance and is on their Performance Team. Also, she maintains her grades and has made the Principal's list all year so far with Perfect attendance.”

 

Tia Brooks Green has made a career change.  “ I have bought a Candy Bouquet Franchise.  I left my management position of 3 years at Curves, and bought the franchise in October. It is doing very well,  right now it is home based, but Chuck and I plan to make it storefront by summer (hopefully).  The website for the franchise if anyone is interested is: www.candybouquet.com.”

Tia also adds, “Just a little funny.  Kurtis (10) has invented his own vocabulary (innocently) ie:  He wanted to sleep on the crouton at Todd & Kims.(futon).  "Did you see that horse cow?" (Black and white horse).  He wanted fish filters for dinner one night (fish fillets)  and his new one.  "Oh yeah,  that is Ryan's step-wife." (his new wife).”

 

 

 

 

 

From Ralph’s Branch……….

Ralph and Patty Brooks celebrated Ralph’s recent retirement from the trucking industry with a   vacation in Hawaii.  Ralph planned to rent a vehicle so he can drive in Hawaii and then he will have driven in all 50 states.
